Occupational Therapists are trained to understand the whole person, including physical, mental health, emotional and behavioural needs and their impact on school life.

For those children and young people with additional needs, access to learning and the education environment may be compromised. Therapeutic support and reasonable adjustments may be required to ensure they reach their learning potential, and are able to access education appropriately.

Our Consultancy Service provides mainstream and special schools with an onsite Occupational Therapist who can provide 1:1 assessments of children with particular learning needs, assessment of the school environments and provide detailed individual reports outlining the impact on learning and any further recommendations for schools to improve development.

Why Us?

  • A Targeted Group Approach

Working with individuals or groups of children or young people on activities such as improving dressing or writing skills, keeping focused on a task, sensory skills and developing coordination skills.

  • An Individualised Approach

Providing individualised direct support to a pupil within the school, to develop specific skills that are impacting on their access to learning and education.
